Career Cruising

The first time I tried it, it thought I should be either a fashion designer, a public policy analyst, or an air traffic controller. Huh.

I re-took it just before you posted, and wound up with a whole lot of writing/pundit/political stuff. Nothing tech-support related. Given that this week is the ten-year anniversary of my career in the tech sector (and the end of any and all political-science-type aspirations), I find this deeply Alanis-ironic.
I think "Alanis-ironic" should be a new term. For when things aren't truly ironic but have that sort of ironic aura about them. Like my company announcing that they're being sold exactly one week after I sign the offer letter. Not REALLY ironic, but Alanis-ironic.
I think Roo or ML could comment better than I could, but I believe I nicked the term from that long-ago realm of the Friends Zone. I would say exactly HOW long ago but I think it might make me stick my head in the oven. ;]
heh, I hadn't visited vox today, but just hit publish on a very similar post over on my blog. weird.
That's very cool. I'll have to post mine. Neat.
I'm seriously considering my future as a dog groomer. Really.
